• Eligibility: You can use the change options depending on your ticket conditions and the type of fare. Some fares, routes, or schedule notices may be charged a different fee or fare.

• Flight Disruptions: If you cancel or delay more than 60 minutes, you can reschedule without any further fee, not be rerouted automatically.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Non-voluntary Cancellations:

In case the airlines cancels your flight, you have the option to either order a full refund of your initial payment or be rerouted to your last destination under similar conditions, either instantly or at a later time.

Voluntary Cancellations:

You can change the flight or get a refund via the Manage your Booking portal of TAP. The refund is returned to the mode of payment. TAP could also provide an option of a voucher; a voucher option implies that you may not claim a refund of such cash in the future. 

How to Request a Refund:

• Online: Tickets purchased directly are done using the TAP Refunds area.
• Call Centre or Sales Desk: Service charges could be charged.

Baggage Policies

The baggage policies depend on the type of baggage, destination and fare classes.

Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) Policy

Age Requirements

• Ages 5-11: Children are automatically treated as minors without an escort (UMNR) and compelled to use the service.
• Ages 12-17: At this age, teenagers have the freedom to travel on their own, although UMNR can assist them should they want to.

• Unaccompanied minors bookings should be made directly at the TAP Contact Centre, particularly in the 5-11 age group.
