Flight Cancellation Policy

When Can You Cancel

• The cancellation of the ticket is based on the type of fare and its terms.
• In Brazil, Colombia or Peru, you can cancel 24 hours after buying it through My Trips.
• In Brazil, the ticket should be issued at least a week before the flight.
• Those who bought tickets at the travel agencies or other platforms are required to cancel them with the agencies.
• When the travel packages are cancelled through the LATAM Travel or affiliates such as Despegar, it is necessary to call their centres and get the possibilities of cancellation.

Refund Details

• Refunds are at the conditions of your ticket.
• The fees collected during the process of purchasing services at the LATAM Travel offices or on the Contact Centre are not refundable.
• In the case of open tickets caused by the earlier cancellations, you may demand a reschedule or refund.

If Your Flight Is Cancelled

• You are free to choose a new date in case you are travelling to the same destination and in the same class.
• The changes should be made within 12 months of the initial date of flight.
• A request to reimburse the money can be made through My Trips > Ticket Refund.

Baggage Policies

Checked Baggage

• Passengers must weigh and measure luggage before putting it on the aeroplane.
• Carry-on baggage: 10 bags per passenger (some flights may be fewer).
• Each bag has a maximum weight of 45 kg (99.2 lb) and a length of 300 linear cm (118.1 in).
