Eligibility

You will see the Change My Booking option in case your fare is changeable. You might need to pay a change fee or pay any difference in the fares between the old and new flight, depending on the fare rules.

Refunds and Cancellations

• Anytime Cancellation

This can be cancelled through Manage Your Booking on the American Airlines site. The refunds are determined by the type of fares; not every fare is eligible to be refunded.

• Refunds

Approved refunds are reinstated on the card or payment method you have used. They can cover unutilized areas of your ticket, taxes or service fees.

• Vouchers

In the event that you purchase a Flexible Ticket or have special circumstances, then you may receive a voucher rather than cash. You can reserve it on subsequent flights of American Airlines or Envoy Air.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation for 24 Hours

• You can also cancel your flights within 24 hours of purchase and get a full refund when you buy your flights at least 7 days before you board the plane.

Non-Refundable and Refundable Tickets.

• The refunds rely on the type of fare.
• Refundable fares allow cancellation anytime and receive a full refund of the original payment method.
• Non-refundable/discounted fares normally do not provide cash refunds. The balance, including fees, could be carried over by way of a travel credit when you fly with American Airlines.

Voluntary Cancellations

• When you cancel, within 24 hours, you might need to pay a cancellation fee or pay any difference in fares, according to your ticket terms.

Cabin Baggage

• Economy Class: 1 carry-on bag (56x36x23 cm, with a weight limit of 10 kg) and 1 bag that fits under the seat.
• Envoy Air business class: 2 carry-ons (56X36X23cm each, a total of not more than 32kg), 1 small bag.

Checked Luggage

• Basic Economy: Basic economy does not provide any free checked baggage.
• Economy Class: 1 checked luggage up to 23kg (50lbs). The length, width, and height are not supposed to be more than 158 10 cm (62 1 in).
• Business / First Class: 1 or 2 checked bags, depending on the fare, with weights of up to 32kg (70lbs).
