Flight Change Policy

Make a reservation change

• Online Bookings: Flight schedules, dates, and passenger information may be changed through the My Booking section on the Aegean website.
• Eligibility: It should be changed before the check-in, and the new flight should leave at least an hour after the request. 

Refunds and cancellations

• Anytime: You are able to cancel your reservation online or through the Aegean call centre. 
• Refunds: Any ticket can be refunded in case of eligibility at a service fee of €23 per ticket. 
• Credit Vouchers: Credit vouchers will be issued by Aegean in case of cancelled flights, where the amount will be the value of the ticket plus 10%. This voucher will last 18 months and may be applied to future flights.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation for 24 hours

In case of buying your Aegean ticket at least 7 days before the departure date, you can cancel it without any fee within 24 hours after the purchase.

Non-refundable and refundable tickets.

Aegean Airlines tickets are cancellable with a full refund, with a service fee of 23 Euros. Non-refundable fares do not necessarily qualify to be refunded in cash; however, any unused taxes can always be refunded. Some tickets can be suspended in the form of travel credits, depending on the conditions of the fare.

Voluntary cancellations

You will be charged accordingly after 24 hours, depending on the type of fare. Some such cases might be accompanied by no-show penalties in case you fail to cancel your flight.

Involuntary cancellations

In case your Aegean flight is cancelled by the airline, you can select:

• Rebook at no extra cost, or
• Get a credit voucher of the same value as the ticket, plus a bonus 10% (18-months valid), or
• Demand a complete refund of the unused share of your ticket in money.

Refund timeline

The refunds approved are returned to your original form of payment, which is usually processed within 7-10 business days, and this will depend on your bank and fare policies.

Cabin baggage 

• Economy Class (Light, Flex, Family, ComfortFlex): 1 carry-on bag of 8 kg and 1 personal item bag
• Business Class: 2 carry-on bags, 1 personal item, 5 kg.

Checked luggage

• Economy Light: No free checked baggage (only carry-on).
• Economy Flex/family: 1 carry-on bag of 23 kg.
• Economy ComfortFlex: 1 checked bag weighing up to 23 kg.
• Business Class: 2 checked bags, or 32kg each.

Check-In Options

Online & Mobile Check-in

• Website/App: It is easy to check in on the Airlines website or on the Aegean App at 48 hours to 30 minutes before departure.
• What you can do: Select your seat, add baggage, and get your boarding pass electronically so that you can hand in your boarding pass at the airport.

Airport Check-in.

• Self-Service Kiosks: They are offered in some airports 24 hours to 30 minutes before your flight. Select your seat using your booking reference, e-ticket or passport, print your boarding passes, and drop off.
• Check-in Counters: There are traditional manned counters that offer full check-in support, baggage drop, and seat allocation.

Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) Policy

In case of travelling of kids without any company, the airline provides a special Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) service to provide comfort and security to their children during the journey, both on departure and arrival.

Age Requirements

• 5-11 years old: UMNR service is compulsory, and the children have complete support in the process.
• 12-15 years: Children are allowed to travel, but parents can contact the UMNR service at an extra charge.
• Ages 0–4: Not eligible for UMNR. They should be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years.

How to Book

• Purchase a ticket for the child at the normal adult cost.
• Complete and sign the Unaccompanied Minor request form that is issued by Airlines.
• Fill in the form when making the flight reservation with Aegean Airlines, or through the Aegean call centre.
• Bring one signed copy of the form to check in at the airport.
